Kids can make suncatcher at free program
FREMONT - Kids can make a suncatcher and enjoy prepackaged pancakes during Second Saturdays R 4 Kids on March 13 at the Hayes Presidential Library and Museums.
Kids will learn about Maslenitsa, a weeklong Russian festival celebrating the end of winter and welcoming the sun for spring.
Participants can stop by between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. The program is open-house style, and admission is free.
Second Saturdays R 4 Kids activities focus on Col. Webb Hayes’ travels around the world. Webb Hayes was the son of President Rutherford and First Lady Lucy Hayes, and he founded Hayes Presidential, which is America’s first presidential library.
