In another historic moment for India in space, Aditya-L1 the country's first mission to study the sun has reached its final destination. The space observatory was launched on September 3 last year.
On Friday evening, Aditya L1, which was launched on September 2 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, would get into a ‘halo orbit’ around the Lagrange Point 1 (L1), one of the five spots in the moving Sun-Earth system.
