DFDS wins Calais duty-free store contract

The outlet, which is set to open later this year, is the second DFDS store of its kind in the area
DFDS has won the contract to operate a duty-free shop at
Calais.
The 1,000sqm outlet is set to open in October and will be DFDS’ second store of its kind. The retailer is set to open a port duty-free store at Dunkirk in July.
Calais Port 2015 project, which involved major investment in the port.
DFDS Vice President and Head of BU Channel Filip Hermann said: “We’re delighted to win the tender to operate the new duty-free shopping experience at the port of Calais. This will be complemented perfectly by our planned new shop at the port of Dunkirk, which will open in the next few months.
