first of all, thank you very much for having us on the show and having this important conversation. i think one thing that is important for people to do is be empowered and informed. so i really encourage anyone who might be directed impacted by these raids to be informed about what those rights are that raul was pointing to. you can always visit milc.org/know your rights to know you don t have to open the door, to know the difference between the different warrants presented to you, which ones are valid and which are not. it s important to be prepared and have a plan in place in case something does actually happen. the aclu did file a lawsuit to try to stop what is going to be happening in the next 24 hours. these are the government s i.c.e. raids. the government s system for providing notice is in chaos. in thousands of cases, the government mailed notices to incorrect addresses, sent them with no date or time and set hearings for dates including weekends when no hearings were
well first of all i m so glad they filed this lawsuit because there needs to be justice for the employees who were hacked. we actually look the way the lawsuit is laid out. you realize how much has happened even how much we ve learned even since the dnc staff were hacked. and the fak there s been no recourse or justice for the staff i m glad they re taking this measure. in the years you ve been reporting on, give us some perspective, the context of what this new dnc lawsuit and what is similar to the watergate case? right. well, i wasn t reporting during watergate. right. that we know. student reading about it. but the dnc did file a lawsuit against the nixon reelection committee early on. before there was a especially prosecutor investigating. they were trying to smoke out
i could come in as an investor and look at this property and say, wait a second, i could buy this home at a foreclosure sale by the hoa for 10,000 and get title of that property. but myself as the investor has to look at it and say, well, wait a second they have a mortgage on that property. so there s some legal issues there. right. if nobody bids on the judgment they have, they could end up owning that property again. what does that mean? that means, once again, the homeowners association is on the hook for all the expenses of the house. you wanna do something that s going to wake up the zombie. and that may be even to the point where, maybe, your lawyers will say, you know what? we re just gonna file a lawsuit and say, judge, you know what? could you ask these people to, basically, foreclose on this property? because it is impeding our ability to take care of our neighborhood. get has proactive as possible to get the bank off their butt to say, let s exercise our right
monday, yes? yes, we are. one other thing i d like to say. this whole buyers remorse thing they ve been pushing, this isn t a case of buyers remorse. this is a case of an 87-year-old woman who is sharp, smart, and knew when she was being taken. they have no evidence at all. the evidence is the contrary that she had any buyers remorse. looking forward to court on monday. trump s words, she s using the age card here. your response to that? an 84-year-old woman decides. i ll just go file a lawsuit against a billionaire and then try to play sympathy. it has nothing to do with the age card. that would be like us saying mr. trump is trying to play the hair-challenged card. it has nothing to do with the case. come on now. thanks so much. appreciate your time. all the best to both sides.
