The Chief Imam of Fika Emirate Council in Yobe State and Chairman of the Emirate’s Council of Ulamas, Alhaji Muhammadu, Alkali is dead.
The death of the Imam was announced in brief statement issued the State Chairman Council of Chiefs and Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa through his spokesman, Mohammed Abubakar.
It indicated that, the cleric died on Friday in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.
The statement added that, late Alkali has been buried in Maiduguri according to Islamic rites.
Meanwhile, Governor Mai Mala Buni in a statement, commiserated with the Emir of Fika, Alh. Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa, the Emirate Council and the people of Fika Emirate over the demise of Imam Muhammad Alkali, the Sarkin Malaman Masaurautan Fika.
