Enrolment at the University of Fiji this year has been very encouraging despite the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and the two tropical cyclones.
UniFiji Registrar, Karishma Mani in a statement today said that various marketing initiatives taken in the past few months were progressing well.
In particular, the innovative chat platform which allowed students to ask questions about prospective study saw hundreds of students connecting to the university on a weekly basis.
Dr Kamala Naiker, Head of Language, Literature and Communications Department, said that the university had also received positive feedback for its Bachelor of Inter-disciplinary Studies and Bachelor of Medical Health Science programme.
