Extensive damages to Ratu Cakobau Park, has caused organisers of the Fiji Bitter Tabadamu 7s to shift its annual tournament to Suva.
“The tournament will be held at Bidesi and Buckhurst grounds,” said tournament director Jone Turaganiqali.
Turganiqali said for the time being the tournament remained scheduled for Friday May 28 and Saturday 29 but will be moved depending on the situation in the country.
“We are eagerly watching the developing situation in the country due to the pandemic, and will shift when advised too.

DAMAGE caused by Tropical Cyclone Ana earlier this year to Ratu Cakobau Park has forced organisers to shift the anticipated Fiji Bitter Tabadamu 7s to May.
Tournament organiser Jone Turaganiqali said because of the works continuing at Ratu Cakobau Park and the tight deadline the tournament would be held in Suva.
“The new venue is Bidesi and Buckhurst grounds and it will be held in Suva on Friday, May 28 and Saturday, May 29,” Turaganiqali said.

“All major teams are still confirmed and we are still looking forward to a great tournament.
