桃園市一名35歲的王姓新手媽媽罹患產後憂鬱症，去年11月將2個月大的兒子悶死，事後還想跟兒子一起走，事後主動向警方自首，表達「想重新來過」的悔意，桃園地院審酌王女不但自首，同時也獲得丈夫的原諒，加上產後憂鬱症致辨識能力降低等情，判王女3年徒刑，可上訴。
