A U.S. judge on Friday approved an agreement by lawyers to destroy the assault-style rifle that Kyle Rittenhouse used to kill two people and wound a third during a 2020 street protest in Wisconsin.
Another legal fight is brewing over the fate of the $2 million that conservatives raised to cover bail for Rittenhouse, who was acquitted last year of multiple charges, including homicide.
Kenosha County Judge Bruce Schroeder has approved an agreement by lawyers to destroy the gun used by Kyle Rittenhouse in three shootings in Kenosha in August 2020.
