we do worry about tactical use, but frankly speaking, russia is not in a position to start a military conflict, certainly, with any other country. it can barely win the war in ukraine right now. to that point when you hear secretary blinken telling u.s. allies around the world, look, this is going to go on for months and months. we ve talked about this before. watching putin. this war started eight years ago, not 50-something days ago. watching putin we ve all expected that. what is the strategic importance of secretary blinken trying to tell everybody, strap in, prepare for the long haul? well, i think because, you know, as democracies, we re not very good at paying attention for a long time and hanging in there. and we want a quick victory. and to the extent that we don t really know. there could be a quick victory, but, obviously, if you are a leader in government, you want to make sure you re prepared for the longer haul. there are a lot of questions about what next. obviousl
right now state to state, law by law, democrats fighting republicans over the stuff in the state legislatures and if they can t stop and it those things pass into law, the fight moves to the courts. state by state, all over the country. that s all we ve got for voting rights. track one bringings the country to the brink of madnessing but track two in the states brings us to what is now a fully joined, full-time, urgent state by state fight for democratic rights. it s just as insane. that story s next. common love isn t for us we created something phenomenal don t you agree? don t you agree? ow! we ve got em on the ropes. the billionaires buying elections.
for this legal battle that she s about to engage in with the campaign, who has filed an arbitration claim to over this book and saying that they had an nda with her. by saying that she essentially is a whistleblower. she kept using that term, that seems to be the defense that she s going to mount against it. so i think these are both areas to watch here, as this legal fight moves forward. in terms of robert mueller, obviously he s going to want receipts to back up anything that any testimony that anybody gives with respect to this with this claim. so if that exists, robert mueller already has it. the idea too, this campaign was so small, that one thing people have to understand about campaigns, everybody knows everything. this campaign was one, not normal, and two, not a normal size. so i wouldn t put her outside of the realm of possible people who would have known. here s the two things i would
massacre, governor scott signed a new law. it raised the age for buying guns, requires three day waiting period, outlaws bump stocks, gives police more power to seize weapons and allows schools to train and arm certain staffers. there s been a big debate on all these issues. i believe every side has had a chance to share those views and that s what makes our democracy great. i said that we should give all have to give a little and make compromises and that includes me. i know that many wanted more gun control than what is included in this bill. and i know that many believe this bill has too much gun control. i respect the sincerity and the validity of both of these view points. now the fight moves to the courts in florida and to the 2018 campaign. among the big political questions, what cues, if any, will washington take from florida and will be in favor of the new florida law help or hurt politically. governor scott now exhibit a.
that authority anywhere? if that nuclear chain begins to go off, no schoolboy desks will be much help in protecting millions of people. this is one of those surreal moments we get a lot of in seoul these days. tom was just laying out the dangers of nuclear warfare. and behind me are dancers in traditional clothing. they ve come out for a daily ceremony. and they seem to have an audience. it s a beautiful day here in seoul and nothing seems further away than a war. let s hope it stays that way. next, we find out that there s far more to north korea s military machine than rockets and bombs. in a conventional fight, there s no doubt that americans will own the air space. but what happens if the fight moves to cyberspace? on a scale of one to ten,
