The April 8 total solar eclipse is quickly approaching, with Hamilton and surrounding areas set to darken for anywhere between about 45 seconds and more than three minutes starting at 3:18 p.m.
The Hamilton Naturalists' Club was recently honoured for work revitalizing wetlands in Grimsby that it started over 20 years ago. Nearby, the Hamilton Conservation Authority is building several new wetlands all in a region where that natural feature is disappearing.
