So far, the cinematic year has defied all of the odds stacked against it.
In response to COVID-19, cinemas temporarily closed their doors for months and yet audiences have still been treated to a wealth of gems, courtesy of VOD.
One film which received a theatrical release, on the other hand, was After we Collided.
Serving as a sequel to the popular Netflix film After, many championed the film and certain scenes were highlighted by fans to entice others to see it.

After We Collided came to cinemas a year after its predecessor, After. The After series is known and loved by fans, but due to the coronavirus scuppering our plans, it is likely some would have missed After We Collided being on the big screen. Fans of the romantic drama, which follows on from After (2019), believe that the relationship portrayed by Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) and Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) glorifies abuse.

The second of the four-part franchise,
After We Collided sees Tessa start her first internship at Vance publishing, a company owned by a friend of Hardin s dad. With some surprisingly familiar faces in the cast including Pia Mia, Dylan Sprouse, and Selma Blair the second installment of the After series is even juicier than the first, but it s not been an easy ride. The film first premiered on demand on Oct. 23, but if you didn t catch it the first time, it ll be making its way to Netflix on Dec. 22.
