Swapping all that for my kitchen table has been tough. Working on a magazine is such a collaborative thing, and the close-knit teamwork is a huge part of the “Friend”. It’s been a difficult adjustment when you find yourself on your own, but we all knew that there would be a time for optimism.

There’s no denying it has been a difficult year. During the year of the pandemic, people have had to readjust their lives, both personal and professional, amid ever increasing uncertainty. It has been a new way of living for many, but the arrival of a vaccine has instilled optimism for 2021.
