Taoiseach Micheal Martin was joined by Rosanna Davison and a host of celebs to strike a pose for 65 Roses Day.
Also donning the purple rose to support Cystic Fibrosis Ireland were news anchor Bryan Dobson, celebrity chef Adrian Martin, Wild Youth frontman Dave Whelan, TV hosts Mairead Ronan and Diana Bunici.
Sporting heroes came out in force too from Michael Carruth, Cian O’Connor and Louise Galvin, with singers Brian Kennedy, Jake Carter and Michael English raising much-needed awareness.

65 Roses Day collections due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Instead, members of the public are being encouraged to support people with cystic fibrosis (CF) on 65 Roses Day, this Friday 9th April, by donating online at 65RosesDay.ie or by taking part in a virtual

Over the past year, Trisha Duffy Barber (42) has watched how the public has learned about the science of viruses, how they spread and how some people are more vulnerable to becoming very ill.
“Suddenly, the whole population has the awareness that people with cystic fibrosis have as they grow up with risks of infections,” says the 42-year-old speech and language therapist. “People know about droplet transmission, airborne viruses and the importance of washing your hands to prevent infection spreading; things we knew about for years.”
