Celebrating St David s Day will be a completely different experience this year.
The coronavirus pandemic has meant that many of the usual events in honour of our patron saint won t be taking place.
But people can still mark the historic occasion in different ways.
Here we round up the celebrations across Wales that will take place despite the pandemic and we will add more as soon as we get details.

Two rising acts in the world of Welsh music are confirmed to perform gigs at the Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli, which will be streamed to audiences online in the coming weeks. It comes after the Carmarthenshire based theatre hosted another two popular Welsh language bands in December, with rock band Alffa taking to the stage and also a young 5-piece band, Gwilym, for online shows which were streamed on YouTube and Facebook. The gigs have proved popular with audiences at home that are missing live music, with the shows generating almost 6,000 views within 48 hours of being posted. Hoping for a similar reaction when their online shows are broadcast are new wave punk rockers, Mellt and electro soul artist, Eädyth.

Aberystwyth – Thomas Parry Library, Llanbadarn Campus, Aberystwyth University
Cardigan – Teifi Leisure Centre
Haverfordwest - Pembrokeshire Archives, Prendergast
Tenby – Tenby Leisure Centre The health authority said these mass vaccination centres will provide a safe environment and space to maintain social distancing, while allowing more people to be vaccinated as efficiently and as quickly as possible.
