Jason and the Scorchers and other ‘80s and ‘90s country rock figures converged to raise money for an ailing bassist and friend at a concert affectionally dubbed Jeff Fest.
The annual fundraiser benefiting the Vieux Carré Property Owners, Residents & Associates (VCPORA) will be a celebration of 85 years of serving and preserving the Vieux Carré. The theme for this grand fete will be a royal masquerade, and costuming and masking are greatly encouraged. Patron party will be from 6-7 p.m. The main event follows from 7-10 p.m.
