TechFest Awards to showcase industry innovation and progress After a year where the need for technology really came to the fore, NCE has opened entries for the 2021 TechFest Awards to celebrate the industry’s success in putting technology into action to overcome the challenges of the pandemic, as well as address demand for improved project delivery. Firms with great examples of engineering innovations and uses of emerging technologies have until 9 July to submit their entries ahead of the awards on 2 December in London, which will follow on from a full day conference. “The categories for this year have been expanded with the support of Construction News to recognise the achievements throughout the full supply chain,” said NCE editor Claire Smith. “The awards and conference create a full day festival of innovation and technology that is a thought provoking and immersive and designed to bring together and stimulate the brightest minds in civil engineering and construction.
