The Ferrero group is suspected of delaying alerts to the authorities and failing to recall its products when salmonella was first detected in the Arlon factory.
Salmonella was found in a Kinder factory in Belgium, run by manufacturer Ferrero. The factory was closed temporarily in April 2022. Over 113 countries receive products from Kinder.
