CELEBRATING Hari Raya without your loved ones is never easy, but life goes on for an elderly couple who will be on their own for the second consecutive year.
Retiree Ismail Din, 76 and his wife Feridah Md Isa (sic), 64, will only get to celebrate with their neighbours and offer prayers at a mosque nearby their house in Kampung Tanah Liat, Bukit Mertajam.
They have five sons aged between 32 and 44, and a total of 12 grandchildren, but none of them would be coming home due to the interstate and inter-district travel restrictions.
