Linda Rude, 76, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, February 9, 2024, at her home under the care of hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Linda Helen Shaul was born June 26, 1947 to Glenn and Jean (Keipp) Shaul in Fergus Falls. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1965 and then attended two years of junior college. On November 2, 1968, Linda married Daryl Rude at Sarpsborg Church near Dalton, MN. They were married for 55 years. Linda spent time working for the city of Moorhead, MN, Charles Ambuel Tax Agency, Norby’s in Detroit Lakes, as a CNA in home healthcare, and InVision Eyecare in Fergus Falls. Through her working years, her greatest aspiration was to care for her family and friends with great devotion. She enjoyed bird watching, reading, finding new recipe ideas, observing wildlife, time at the lake, time with friends, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
