Milan fights back for sixth straight win
AX Armani Exchange Milan came from behind to make it six wins in a row with an 82-76 victory over Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday night. Balanced and consistent offense allowed Zenit to take a 35-44 halftime lead, but Milan gradually came back into the game after the break and finished stronger to edge over the winning line. Kevin Punter led five Milan scorers in double figures with 14 points, followed by Sergio Rodriguez with 13. Malcolm Delaney and Kyle Hines each netted 12 points and Vladimir Micov added 10. Kevin Pangos and Austin Hollins scored 12 for Zenit, with KC Rivers netting all 11 of his points in the first half. The victory took Milan into third place at 15-7, while Zenit dropped to 13-8.

Norfolk State basketball alum Kyle O’Quinn, who spent the past eight years in the NBA, will continue his career overseas after signing with a professional team in Turkey.
Fenerbahce Beko announced on Wednesday that it has signed O’Quinn to a contract for the remainder of its season. Based in Istanbul, the team is a member of the Basketball Super League, also known as ING Basketbol Süper Ligi, the top professional division in the Turkish basketball system. Fenerbahce is currently 13-4 and in third place in the 16-team Basketball Super League.

Norris Cole paced the ASVEL attack with 15 points, David Lighty netted 13 and Moustapha Fall amassed 10 points and 9 rebounds. The loss dropped ASVEL to 5-13 on the season. The game was tied 42-42 late in the second quarter before a Nedovic three gave Panathinaikos the lead for good and the Greens defense held ASVEL to just 29 points in the second half.
