Franklin Institute's 'Science After Hours' series continues with Summer Ball on June 24. The even features LGBTQ+-inspired live performances, dancing, games, science demonstrations, and more in celebration of Pride Month. THE Summer Ball is for guests 21 and older and runs from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person via the Franklin Institute website, and $45 at the door.
A new $8.5 million Space exhibit developed in collaboration with Boeing Co. will open in fall 2023 at The Franklin Institute, thanks in part to a $3 million.
The Franklin Institute will create a new exhibit about the future of space exploration using a $3 million gift from Boeing. The two-story immersive exhibit will include displays about missions to Mars and the moon, and how space technology can be used to improve life on Earth. SPACE is expected to open at the Philadelphia museum in the fall of 2023.
The Franklin Institute's 2022 'Science After Hours' series begins Friday, April 1. The first of four parties will be 'Spectacular Spectacular,' a cabaret-themed celebration inspired by Moulin Route. The event will feature tango lessons, circus acts and live music. It runs from 8-11 p.m. Tickets cost $45 at the door and $35 for members.
