A 29-year-old Sedalia man was placed on probation after pleading guilty to a couple of felonies.
According to a Sedalia Police Report, on October 18, a woman claims she asked Michael Etter to drop her off at home several times after letting him know she did not want to be with him anymore. She said there was a verbal and physical confrontation.
When trying to arrest Etter, the officer says Etter resisted. Once inside the patrol vehicle, Etter hit his head off the cage inside the vehicle. Jail staff refused to take Etter due to a cut on his forehead and he refused treatment at the hospital. Etter was transported back to the jail and in order to prevent him from hitting his head again, a helmet was placed on his head.
