Abi Dunnett is planning to swim on Christmas Day in memory of her father, Chris.

For years Felixstowe schoolgirl Abi Dunnett had watched her father Chris take part in the town s Christmas Day swim as he raised money for the St Elizabeth Hospice - but she was too young to join him because you have to be at least 13 years old.

Tragically Chris died from cancer himself earlier this year - but now that she is 14 Abi was determined to take part in the event and raise money for the hospice service that enabled him to stay at home for the last weeks of his life.
