Awutu Senya East Municipality to increase security following a surge in crimes

+ The Awutu Senya East Municipal Security Council says it will roll out security measures within Kasoa and its environs, following concerns of a surge in violent crimes there. Speaking to JoyNews’ the MCE Michael Assuman Mensah said that most of the crimes happening are not within the Kasoa jurisdiction. However, because some of the crimes take place in neighbouring towns and Kasoan in the past gained notoriety, it has become imperative to ensure the assembly and police improve security in the area. “People are easily culpable of identifying or giving a relative kind of location, like ‘this place near Kasoa or Kasoa Adewuka’. Adewuka is very far away from Kasoa, so, this is how we find ourselves.”
