friends that are girls have parents that are really scared and that the girls have chosen not to come back. i text my mom every time i leave. i text her when i get to class. it makes her feel better. i m more cautious now. i used to keep my doors unlocked all the time and now i don t anymore. it s just like not knowing who it is. if i were to go out when it s nighttime, i would bring a small pocket knife with me. definitely bringing like my taser and bear spray with me and making 1450ur i m not walking alone at night. i brought some mace i never carried that before. just checking in and making sure my friends especially my friends that are girls, my girlfriends that they re feeling safe. and do you think the police have been doing a good job so far? well, they haven t given us much information. yeah. i think there is a lot more evidence that we just don t know that they do. unfortunately, my opinion, i think they are running out of time, the longer they get drug out
do you feel safe? i do. of course there s some concern with some of his followers. i do get messages. i did get some last night, i ve dishonored my husband, this is all my fault. i m pretty used to everything being my fault. the fbi has been great. they check in on me, double-check, is there anything have you been getting bad messages? co-founder of kid save, an organization that aims to protect and provide relief to orphans in crisis. randy, thanks so much for joining us and thank you for all you do. what are your colleagues in ukraine telling you about what ukrainian children right now are going through? well, our colleagues are very busy trying to make sure that they re providing warmth to those ukrainian children and families. it s been incredibly tough for kids and tough for all the ukrainian people, but our goal is to keep children and families together so that they re able to feel safe. for the kids in orphanages, we ve worked to take those kids out of harm s way, out of places and bring them to mountain areas where they can all stay together so they are feeling safe. obviously, kid save is an organization championing for older kids in care so we re working right now to keep them
when it comes to me voicing certain things which maybe the government doesn t agree with, i feel i have outlets that don t have to be public, right? okay. and i m okay with that. you talk about feeling safe. yeah, security. do you feel respected? definitely. i do. do you feel that there s parity for women, and you are paid and treated as well as men? yes. yes, i think so. yes. you know why? i think that s because of maids. what are maids? maids, as in helpers. helpers. i think you ll find that, actually, if you look at singapore, a lot of women are in the workforce, and the reason why that is so is because everybody s got a maid looking after their child at home. so maids are kind of like the opiate of the masses.
