going? it s actually heading your way. it s going to head back over water again after making landfall a couple hours ago. the storm did move west. instead of falling or drifting, it s now heading to the south-southwest. you in the center right here. the hurricane center s track. another hour or two, we ll probably get it back over water. it won t really make much of a difference. it just won t weaken as fast as it would if it was over land. that s where the winds are starting to pick up a little bit more. once you get into some heavier bands, that s when we ll get power outages spreading into south carolina. as of now, most have been confined to north carolina. how about our poor friends that have been in this now for almost 24 to 36 hours in craven county where the worst damage has occurred, the worst storm surge has occurred. this feeder band coming off the ocean has pointed straight at you, driving the wind and the waves to the coast. that s the area we re concerned most with as w
