Punk rock pioneer Billy Idol will help mark the return of live entertainment to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in October.
His fist-pumping antics and iconic sneer made Billy Idol, now 65, one of pop music s most recognizable artists in the 1980s. He has sold 40 million albums, and his hit singles include Dancing With Myself, White Wedding and Rebel Yell. Before his solo success, Idol was frontman for one of England s earliest punk bands, Generation X.
He will perform at the Chelsea on consecutive weekends, Oct. 16 and 17 and Oct. 22 and 23. Tickets start at $39 (plus taxes and fees) with reserved seating starting at $69.
