Safa has written eleven books, and her latest work, Rebel With Time is available in the UK via Amazon Kindle.
The book is semi-autobiographical for Safa, and tells the story of a young girl who is facing an arranged marriage, but has big dreams and doesn’t want to be tied down.
The author attended a Science and Society Matters talk from the Bucks Federation of Women’s Institutes on Thursday, and answered questions on the issue set by members.
Safa told how in Oman she feels that, while arranged marriage is still common, attitudes are changing and that she believes within two generations it will no longer be part of society there.
