Power infrastructure in Noida is lagging behind, and the power minister has given the discom 15 days to submit a report on the issue. The Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations' (FONRWA) president met with the power minister to discuss the slow pace of infrastructure upgrade work in the city. Residents from various sectors have reported poor power supply, pending work, overbilling, and meter reading-related issues.
The discom has started work on the power infrastructure in sectors 99 and 100 of Noida. The infrastructure ramp-up aims to improve power supply in the areas, benefiting over 15,000 residents. The project is expected to be completed by January end for Rs 51 lakh.
