Barely a week after the IG BAU construction union called off its strikes and agreed a wage settlement, construction companies have announced 10,000 job cuts.
On closer inspection, the wage settlement turns out to be a sham. Nothing has been decided yet, and dockers should make it clear to the Verdi trade union that they will not accept this sell-out.
