What do you want to be when you grow up? It’s the question we start asking students at a young age.
They may dream of becoming nurses, scientists, astronauts, engineers or firefighters.
But those dreams are not confined to PK-12 students. Adults facing today’s challenging job market also are exploring educational and training opportunities in preparation for their dream job.
The good news is much progress has been made in creating the pathways to help them get there.
That progress is being celebrated this month by the Oklahoma CareerTech System, as Gov. Kevin Stitt recently issued a proclamation declaring February Career and Technical Education Appreciation Month in Oklahoma.
