Bellator MMA has jumped into premium cable, signing a deal to air exclusively on Showtime. Bellator and Showtime Sports announced on Tuesday that they’ve signed a deal that will see the company air live event on the cable network starting in April. The first events will take place on April 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT and air live from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. That first event is Bellator 255 and will be headlined by Patricio Freire defending his featherweight title against Emmanuel Sanchez, a rematch of their previous bout and a semifinal match in the Featherweight World Grand Prix.
