secretary of state will all be on the ballot in november. in washington state, joe kemp, the trump endorsed candidate for the third congressional district just defeated six-term congressman jamie herrera beutler, one of ten republicans who voted to impeach trump last year. of course this comes in the midst of all legal trouble for the ex president. the department of justice is in the middle of an investigation into his handling of classified documents. the january six investigation continues in earnest, both at the doj and in congress. yesterday they interviewed trump s secretary of state mike pompeo. the attorney general in new york is leading an investigation into trump s business practices. today the ex president appeared in present for a deposition, which he pleaded the fifth. despite all of that, at least for now, trump maintains the status as the kingmaker of the republican party, he is still
