New details on a late night fire that ripped through a local landmark in boone county. The fire happened at 9 00 at the the ohio river. The building, which dated back to 1831, was closed at the time of the fire. Someone passing by saw the flames and called the fire department. When firefighters arrived, flames were shooting through the roof and front windows.
