Russia has reduced the use of kamikaze drones in the Tavria sector of the front for the past two days, but it continues, however, to drop precision-guided bombs, Tavria operational group commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said on Telegram on Nov. 28.
In addition to eliminating over 1,000 Russian invaders yesterday — a common occurrence over the past few weeks — Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed a Russian Buk-M1 air defense system near Tavria, announced Tavria operational group commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi on Telegram on Nov. 24.
Russian forces intensified ground attacks against Avdiivka and surrounding settlements in early October, in an attempt to encircle the town. The campaign has been supported by heavy shelling and air strikes, which continue to inflict casualties among civilian residents.
In significant actions near Avdiivka, Ukrainian forces have eliminated almost 500 Russian soldiers and captured one occupier in the last day, Tavria operational group commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi announced on Telegram on Nov. 18.
Ukraine has eliminated 572 enemy troops and 32 units of military equipment in one day in the south of the country, according to the Tavria group commander, Brig. Gen. Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, on Nov. 12.
