Georgette was born in Danbury, CT to David and Adell Nahom on July 5, 1927. Georgette was a bright young woman who graduated from High School at age 16 and married Emil Morey in 1947 at age 20. They worked together side by side for many years, first in the IGA grocery store they owned which had been started by Emil’s Dad, and later, in the Real Estate business which Emil created in 1953 and which ultimately grew to 5 offices in Connecticut and one in New York City.
