A man was killed and his wife and eight-year-old son injured in a road accident here while they were going to attend the last rites of her father, police said on Saturday.
Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande s father Shashikant Lokhande passed away on August 12, at the age of 68. Today (August 13), Ankita and her family held the funeral for her father at their residence. Ankita had earlier shared on her Instagram handle that her father was unwell and seeking special treatment, she also shared pictures with her father when he returned home from the hospital. At the funeral, Ankita and her mother broke down in tears while performing the rituals.
