Today we saw the largest fast food protests for livable wage in american history. Thousands of lowwage fastfood workers protested in roughly 150 cities all over the country. Their demand is pretty simple. They want a livable wage of 15 an hour and they want the right to join a union. These are the most active protests the Labor Movement has seen in decades. Todays protests were different than other previous protests from one main reason. Nonviolent civil disobedience. They were ready to make a statement. According to the group.
