A key vote in the Alabama House is likely Thursday after hours of intense debate by lawmakers. Oh, it would mean a difference between night and day, I believe, honestly. As I said earlier, I have PTSD and I have a lot of issues that come with that, said Farrah Christopher, who is in favor of the medical marijuana bill.

The Alabama House of Representatives has approved an amended version of the medical marijuana bill.
The final vote about 12:30 p.m. Thursday was 68 in favor, 34 opposed, and 1 abstention.
It now goes back to the Alabama Senate. If approved there, it will need Gov. Kay Ivey s signature to become law.
