The zeal with which Minister of Agriculture Ediberto Mai had taken on the campaign against the importation of dairy products would suggest that he himself was a personal beneficiary to the success or failure of the local dairy producers. But he is not. The reality is that he has taken on a fight for someone else. The thing is that members of the very community to which the largest dairy product producer belongs to do not support the dairy producer.
Pictures taken this week in Spanish Lookout, where the largest dairy producer in the country is located, shows a truck in front of the Farmers Trading Center which is the largest supermarket in the community and is owned by members of the same Mennonite community. The truck was there delivering LALA products. A check inside the supermarket shows their shelves replete with LALA products.

Armed Robbery in Spanish Lookout
There was a brazen armed robbery in Spanish Lookout on Wednesday afternoon. Salesman Michael Escalante reported to police upon walking out of Farmers Trading Center in Spanish Lookout, he was accosted by two gunmen armed with shotguns. They demanded that he hand over the keys to his 2020 Wingle pickup truck valued at fifty thousand dollars. Fearing for his life, he complied and the gunmen sped off in the vehicle, which was later ditched by the robbers. A search of the vehicle has since revealed that an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen along with an electronic device and a nine millimetre pistol with a magazine containing twelve rounds of ammunition of the same calibre.
