Farmers Protest Live Updates, Farmers Rail Roko Andolon: A trio of Union ministers is scheduled to convene once more with farmer leaders to address their array of concerns on Thursday evening in Chandigarh, according to farm leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal.The central government extended an invitation to the farmer representatives for a third round of discussions within a week, following two previous meetings on February 8 and 12 that failed to yield resolutions.This proposal for dialogue emerged amidst ongoing farmer protests at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders of Punjab and Haryana, where demonstrators were steadfast in their resolve to march towards Delhi, advocating for the fulfillment of their demands, which include enacting legislation on minimum support prices for crops and providing relief through loan waivers.
Haryana senior farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni gave the call to take over the toll plazas to express resentment against the police lathi charge on agitating farmers.
