MARYLAND- Get ready to support your local Farmer’s Market as Governor Larry Hogan dedicating all next week to them.
Governor Hogan declared August 1 – 7 as Maryland’s Farmers’ Market Week to celebrate the markets across the state- as they provide Marylanders easy access to local produce.
Farmers Markets have played an essential role not only for consumers, but for farmers and food makers who lost their food service business overnight as restaurants, schools and offices locked down in early 2020.
Adkins Farm Market, in Salisbury, said in the past year it’s important to shop local and they feel this dedication will help to get that word out.
