Explore Our Coverage Of The 27 Animated Features Competing For The Oscar
Earlier this week, The Wrap published a list of the 27 animated features that have so far qualified for this year’s Oscars.
We’ve verified the list, which is remarkably long for a year of badly disrupted film releases. While 27 isn’t quite a record last year saw 32 features qualify we should note that the list isn’t necessarily final: these are the films that have been added to Academy members’ screening room to date, and more could theoretically follow. There isn’t much time for that, though, as preliminary voting ends on February 5.
