Police complaint against Kangana Ranaut for terming farmers terrorists
With her statements, Kangana Ranaut is trying to provoke and incite the other citizens of India to attack and assault the farming community and their families, the complaint said.

BELAGAVI: A Belagavi-based advocate Harshavardhan Patil has filed a complaint against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for calling the agitating farmers in the country terrorists, and for promoting enmity between different groups or class and intentionally insulting the farming class through her Twitter handle. Officials at the Tilakwadi police station, Belagavi where the complaint was filed are likely to register an FIR against the actor in the next 24 hours.
Tension arose on Friday after a group of around 200 people, claiming to be local residents, barged into the farmers’ protest site despite heavy security.

The Delhi Police on Wednesday said that over 25 criminal cases had been filed and 19 arrested for the violence during the farmers’ massive Republic Day tractor rally.
Earlier in the day, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) and Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan announced their decision to withdraw from the ongoing farmers’ protest, a day after the violence.

A 42-year old farmer from Haryana’s Rohtak district, agitating against the new farm laws at Delhi’s Tikri border, reportedly killed himself on Tuesday night by consuming a poisonous substance, according to
The Indian Express.
The farmer, who identified himself as Jai Bhagwan Rana in a suicide note that he left behind, consumed sulphas tablets, according to the police. He was taken to nearby Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where he died during treatment,
The Indian Express reported. Rana was the fifth farmer who killed himself in the farmers’ protest at various borders of the national Capital.
