Thundering down the gorge from Foyers, itâs easy to see why Robert Burns and others were awe-struck by the power of the waterfalls behind the small Highland village.

Berwickshire Coastal Path in the Scottish Borders polled top, with Ben Craigforth in Stirling taking bronze. County Down’s North Down Coastal Path came second in that ranking.

When it comes to parks, Fife’s Silverburn Park was rated the best in the UK. Second and third place were taken by the English Southampton Common in Hampshire and Hereford Board and Bike Park in Herefordshire respectively.
