1st virtual Kingdom international expo to be held in June By JT - Apr 03,2021 - Last updated at Apr 03,2021 AMMAN Sindyan for Entrepreneurship and Development on Saturday announced organising the first virtual Kingdom International Exhibition and Conference to promote Jordanian industries, services and products, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. In partnership with the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition will be held from June 21 to June 26. In a press statement, Sindyan’s Secretary General Nawaf Daoud said that the exhibition will enable a large number of companies, factories, educational institutions, tourism establishments, service providers and national institutions to communicate directly with customers and potential international partners.

The virtual event highlighted the available investment opportunities in both countries and discussed the prospects of establishing joint projects and increasing trade exchange. During the forum, the JBA and ULIE signed a memorandum of understanding to boost economic, trade and investment relations, as well as business networking. JIC launches 6 new e-services By JT - Dec 16,2020 - Last updated at Dec 16,2020 AMMAN The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) on Tuesday launched six new e-services, according to a JIC statement.  Labour Minister and Minister of State for Investment Affairs Maen Qatamin attended the launching ceremony, which is related to the ministry’s services provided through the JIC. Highlighting the government’s keenness and efforts towards speeding up transformation to e-services, Qatamin said that the release of the new e-services is a completion of the JIC’s automation project, which is expected to be completed in mid-2021. Acting JIC Chairman Faridon Hartouqa said that the launch of the e-services of the Labour Ministry is part of the second phase of the JIC’s automation project, noting that 23 services have been automated during the first phase.
