According to a Faribault Fire Department News Release, At 3:02 p.m. on July 21, 2021 the Faribault Fire Department , Faribault Police Department, Rice County Sheriff s Deputies, Rice County Dive Team, Rice County Water Patrol, North Memorial Ambulance Service and a Minnesota DNR Conservation Officer responded to a report of a person who suffered a seizure and then fell into the water and disappeared. Upon arrival responders gathered information from witnesses about the last know location of the person. Firefighters immediately entered the water and were able to locate the victim in about 6 feet of water. The victim was pulled from the water and life saving measures were started.
