Propalestinian protests are coming to an end at some bay area colleges. Student demonstrators at u c berkeley and San Francisco state announced tonight they have reached agreements with school administration. This is what is left of the encampment that has been set up on campus for 3 weeks now at u c berkeley in tonight, chancellor carol crist sent a letter to the Academic Senate saying theyve reached an agreement with what is known as the divest coalition. She also wrote another letter to the demonstrators at the encampment saying shell create a committee to look over the investments in will consider divestment. She says they will fully divest but will look into weapons, manufacturing and surveillance industries.
