Just like any employee, the government servants must be treated with dignity and honour regardless of the grade they belong to. No one should be allowed to abuse them. It is disappointing to note that the government-employed domestic workers and drivers are treated badly by officers and their family members. This staff is appointed and paid by the government and they are not the officers’ personal servants. This segment of society must be protected.
